Thank you so much for pointing out how crap Tiscali are.  I think that you have saved me a lot of money and hassle, as I was just about to call them and join.

I hope it all gets sorted soon.  Weird isn't it, they can treat us like s*** yet their customers put a foot wrong and they have to incur charges.

    Take care

    Swlady

    a reply from tiscrapi

This is the reply i got when i emailed tiscrapi about why am i getting charged for leaving early, i will find out much they want in the next few days as my Be* is live from next Tuesday 15th May.

Thank you for contacting Tiscali Customer Support.

Please accept my apologies for the confusion regarding the cancellation.

I am writing to advise you that as the duration of the Tiscali agreement is for 12 months, an early cancellation would result in charges until the date the account began.

As the account has not been cancelled at present, you have not been invoiced. Further to this, as soon as we receive confirmation that you have migrated to another provider, your account shall be closed and an invoice produced.

Please accept my apologies for the confusion that this matter has caused.
