Re: 90% Mortgage on New Build House

Nationwide will do a 90% mortgage on a New Build. This cannot be done via advisers and is only available to direct customers. You can get Tracker and Fixed Rate options. There are no mortgage products available through advisers which will allow this to be done.

Chorley & District Building Society also look like they would do this, as would Coventry Building Society, but only if you, your parents or grandparents have held a savings account with Coventry in the past.

I understand that the best deal about is an 85% LTV on new build with Nationwide, however 5% of the 15% deposit may be made up by a developer gifted deposit. I'm sure most developers would have a go a this, leaving you finding only 10% of the purchase price as a cash deposit.

90% Mortgage on New Build House

I know a lot of lenders have restricted lending on new build properties due to the downturn but I was just wondering if any lenders out there are lending 90% on new build houses?

    Much appreciated.
