    Jackelberry:

do you know weather i could ring my catalagues and ask for them to all make the payments needed to be payed on the same date?

Yes, they are likely to agree to this.

It's also worth looking into setting up automatic payments via internet banking or similar. I don't like direct debits myself unless I trust the people being paid but this is another option to consider.

Can your parents not take out a small personal loan and pay this by reducing the amount they pay you ?

This would be the cheapest way surely to just pay off these loans at a higher interest rate. This is obviously on the basis that your parents can obtain a cheaper loan rate.

Re: 19 Year old, Unemployed, Needing a loan!

Thank you for such a quick and percise reply :)

I wasnt really about not being able to afford it, it was more along the line of being more manageble by having only one payment to make.

and you last statement is very true, its just that once i have money going out for on catalgue, i get another to buy what i was going to rather than wait a few weeks or a month and save, its an annoying cycle especially for some so foolish with money such as me!

Thanks again for your help, Greatly appreciated :)

Lastly, do you know weather i could ring my catalagues and ask for them to all make the payments needed to be payed on the same date? so say, they all come out on the 28th of this month and every 30 days after or something like that?

Re: 19 Year old, Unemployed, Needing a loan!

You are almost certain to be refused a loan from mainstream lenders and non-mainstream lenders would charge more than you are paying on your debts.

You need to try to pay more than the minimum each month. Certainly, come January 2013, you'll have an extra £450 each month and if you use most of this to pay off the debts, they should all be cleared within about 6 months.

Buying from catalogues is an extremely expensive way to shop. Often prices are double what you'd pay in the high street and the finance costs are exorbitant.

19 Year old, Unemployed, Needing a loan!

Hi there, Im Jack and i need some advise.

So.. Im 19 years old and un-employed. Im currently getting £550 a month payed to me from my parents ( this is because i won some money and loaned my parents the money to finish paying their motrgage and asked them to pay me back monthly) this sum will go up to £1000 a month as of January 2013. I have 5 catalagues open in my name, all on boy now pay monthly terms. I owe aboue 700 on my Littlewoods, 400 on Very, 500 on ISME, 500 onK&Co and 500 on Woolworths.

I was wondering.. Rather than juggling my money around and paying 40 minimum payment here and there every other week, is there any chance i could get a loan to pay off these debts thus leaving me with one monthly payment, which ofcourse would be my loan?

I know id usually be refused as im un-employed but ive worked from the age of 13 - 17 part time ( weekends and when i wasnt in school) then from 17 up to about 8 months ago full time. Also, the money from my parents is, as far as their concerned, gaurenteed, as they are both well payed professionals getting more and more work as the months go past ( even during recent recessions! ). Are there any loan companies that would give me a loan if one of my parents signed the contract saying basicly, if i couldnt pay, they will? thanks in advance, any information is greatly appreciated and sorry for any spelling errors!
