I will be travelling around Canada and the US this summer for a little over 6 weeks - at the end of which I will be returning to England permanently -and was wondering if any had any advice regarding buying insurance outside my home country? I have looked at a few UK companies and most require you to have been resident in the UK for 6 months prior to travel start date. Thank you in advance to anyone who can provide information

Tesco clubcard vouchers

Are there any annual trip policies that cover holidays partly paid for with Tesco vouchers? My girlfriend and I are going skiing to Austria on sat 28th feb for a week and we're looking to get winter sports cover insurance. For couples insurance, do you have to be married or anything like that? Because obviously we are not. Also, you can get individual winter sports cover for bout £10, where as couples insurance is about £30 and doesn't cover nearly as much as the expense that two individual policies would. Does anybody have any idea why? In light of recent events (XL collapse) I wanted some advice on what policy I need and which companies offer it at what cost. Tried to trawl through the small print of a few of the comparison quotes but it's taking ages! Any advice much appreciated. Laura
