Today I looked at their website and noticed that they are doing a half price offer for BE Value, which is 8 meg unlimited download. This usually costs £13.50 a month. However, for new customers they will offer you a 12 month contract at £6.75 a month. So I rang them, threatened to disconnect my service unless they gave me the half price deal, so they gave it to me. I have been with them for more than 12 months. If you are a customer, I suggest you do the same thing. £6.75 for an 8 meg broadband connection has to be a deal!

enquiry

why do BE charge a connection fee of £24.99 i was interested in signing up til i discovered this

Be Modem? which model is it?

Hi all - Does anyone know the make and model of the Be modem that is supplied for free? I chose them for a few reasons: 1. fast connection (24 meg) and reliable service at competitive price 2. free static IP 3. free wireless router 4. unlimited download I have been with Bethere for a while and they are proven to be very reliable and fast. The 24 meg connection works wonder and the download is unlimited. The free wireless rounter I got from them is very good as well. Cheers, Flo Note: This post has been moderated. About 2 weeks ago I was looking for a broadband network provider that doesn't come with problems. I have a BT landline with lots of problems and no customer service whatsoever. I read so many horror stories about every other provider. This was until one user here mentioned Be and how happy he was with it. I looked into it and phoned their customer service line out of curosity. They replied after a few minutes. I tried again at peak hours and the wait wasn't too long then either. I was constantly told what number I am in the queue. Last Monday I signed up to Be Value and by Friday I was connected. They give you a modem which you can either connect by ethernet or use as wireless. We now run two terminals at home. The speed is excellent and the set up was very easy. I hope it continues this way. Keep watching this space. So far so good but I will report here if any problems arise.
