we did give them readings over the phone AND WE were always under their estimated reading given its only me and my wife in a 2 bedroom council house.

whats bank accounts got to do with this subject anyway,seen as you mentioned i do check those kind of statements regular almost every day at cash machine as im paranoid about fraud these days,guess i should have adopted the same approach.

the fact is e.on should have known £30 wasnt good enough,they already said the way they review accounts is not upto standard and thats why we were correctly compensated,we were told what to pay by them we didnt decide it,obviously given the fact consumers in this country get ripped of left right and centre i should have anticipated price rises but then e.on should have updated our direct debit whenever they raised prices.

given the fact me and my mrs dont spend all day at home lazying on benefits and generally dont spend a lot fo time at home except when we sleep overnight should serve as reasons why our bill should have been low as you can possibly get.

but as e.on have stated they have a 80% responsibility to the account,then they were the ones at fault.

so which company do you work for is a gas and electric company that your too frightend to reveal .
