Not HMRC so dont shoot me! lol) We used to get so much flack if we didnt sell the extended warranties, and yet feedback shows they are very often not worth the paper they are written on. Stick to your guns and do as Landshark advises.

Out of interest, was it paid for on credit card as you tend to get protection via your card issuer and may have more joy going down that route...?
