Thursday 9th May - Still no Broadband, so telephoned them this morning via all of the contact telephone numbers, until I got a response that could tell me exactly what the date was to be - only to be told around 19th May for the activation date ! This seems to confirms that when I rang the Sales line to cancel my ordered modem, they stated it was dispatched. So I will be returning a call asking for a RAN number in order to have it returned and have my £29.99 refunded.
It seems BT was to be contacted by TalkTalk, even though my Line rental had transfered 19th April 2007 - To be it seems you have to have the line rental active for one month before Broadband access ! Is this true. If so, then why was a date 6th May outlined ?
Will be sending a formal letter of complaint, requesting for some reimbushment for my wasted time, call charges to be refunded.
Now I only have to get my bill sorted.
How can a communications company not commicate with it's customers. I appreciate delays can happen, but why not keep the customer informed !
