Getting fed up with my dialup connection, I decided to join TalkTalk Broadband. I signed up 29th March, (upgrading from Talk 1 to to Talk 3 International), and Land/Call package transfered as detailed in letter/email received. I am still awaiting for my ordered modem (£29.99) and Broadband connection. I have had no details other than what was in the welcome pack about my Connection date (6th May), and the week commencing this date, telephoned & emailed TalkTalk on several occasions only to be told that Modem would be sent out prior to my connection date ! (What is this date ! I have asked for a confirmation of this date, and no-one has yet to response). I am still using my dialup service, and even suggested that calls made from this number should be credited. I am returning the modem back as soon as I receive it, as now I have been given one. I am also being charged the incorrect call package charge of £9.99 rather than the discouned £8.99 for first three months, and also my nectar points have earned have not been awarded since transferring to Talk 3 International. This when mentioned has also seemed to arrive with 'deaf ears' as my account has not been rectified.
