Hello There, My mobile was lost in Peterborough station whilest coming back to Warwick Uni from Linicoln. It was found by some chap who texted my friend. I tried calling that number and it did not work. I gave up and went for a replacement. I am terrible with mobile technicalities. I just wanted a decent mobile that is not very expensive, has a good camera and video and does the job of a mobile. I tried looking around Carphone warehouse and found nothing very exhilerating there. I eventually settled for a e250 samsung from vodafone. I was worried about losing my number because the academic world and the entire university calls me in the same number. That is the problem. I have been using pay as you go. I am writing my PhD thesis now and do not want a 24 month monthly contract. I feel that I cannot move out of vodafone either. Mum and Dad are in India and I do ring them and in that process my vodafone credit goes for a toss. I make about 2-3 calls every alternate day. Is there a monthly plan which factors the calls made to mum and dad and a few people in India where my research project was and accounts for the local calls. I am not a heavy duty phone user rather bordering on the average. Is there a monthly plan and how are vodafones plans? Do I stick with pay as you go and can I upgrade to monthly? Regards Freightliner.
