Savemoney, I appreciate your comments but I am a bit sceptical that it would make a difference at all. Even if I don't use a wireless router myself, I'm surrounded by the signals coming from my neighbours. At the moment I don't have broadband but my Mac detects up to 5 different encrypted networks through its airport. We should also take into account Mobile phones and microwaves. If these signals/radiations are harmful, it won't make a difference the fact that I am not using a wireless router. It'd be like passive smoking I guess.
