I'm not an IT expert but I thought I would be OK with just a password to prevent my neighbours from using my download limit. Now, I am not completely fool and would rely on wires for banking and credit card purchases. As for the Mac itself, I have always used it in wireless areas and never had any problem (used to access other people's wireless myself!). I know a password might be easy to be cracked but I will be only surfing the web. I am only wondering whether any wireless router will do or the UW uses specific ones.
