Yes It is totally possible to get all your bank charges back. I moderate on Penaltycharges.co.uk which was set up by Stephen Hone, the Law Student who first challenged Abbey over his charges. The site is totally free and no non profit making so hope posting about it here is OK. It has all the letters and templates you need to claim your money back as well as a full guide and tailored advice from our team of moderators.

So far ALL claims made by people for return of bank charges have been succesfull over 10000 members and 500K refunded to members so far.

The charges are unlawfull and the banks know it, They very very rarely don't settle before the court date. You can also claim all your charges and 8% interest per annum going back six years which can be very worth while.


To those who say you should be more careful and you deserve to be charged, please remember, no one is perfect and the banks have been mugging us for too long, they are only allowed to charge what it costs them and not make any profit when a customer defaults on their account.
