I don't think you misunderstood me, to be perfectly honest I used to find MS an education, somewhere I could pick up advice I wouldn't usually have such easy access to, and share what little I knew with those that also came here to learn and for help. Recently I've found I'm learning less and instead trawling through hot topics avoiding the anything and everything posts, which are more and more frequent.
It seems sometimes advice has fallen by the wayside in the rush to reach the most post points, which aren't always an indication of a user's valuable contributions (as once advised to a new member by someone), more the case of a user's ease of access to this site. This isn't a personal attack on anyone, it just happened that this thread made me realise that I don't come here primarily to chat, therefore maybe I shouldn't be a 'regular visitor' anymore. I appreciate it's nice to have a bit of banter and make friends, but that's not what I use this site for, and I should think some others may slightly agree. Some users may remember an indidual whose advice was very helpful, until his posts became more and more silly and he ended up banned. I'm not begrudging anyone enjoying themselves here, and sorry for the moan, but I think I've outstayed my welcome here.
