joeburns:I quite rate Direct Line, I did an insurance comparison on my new car and the cheapest quote I got was £900. With Direct Line they'll insure me for £550. Plus they guarantee courtesy car and they've easy to talk to regarding customer service issues. I've not had a claim through them yet so can't comment on that side.

Untill you have a claim and some bloke over the phone tell you that "common sense says,,,,,,"  is when you will understand how direct line treat their customers.
