I have a Northern Rock personal unsecured loan balance of which is around £15,000. I've got a couple of credit cards (£5800 and £2500) plus an overdraft of about £1300 and I was wondering if its possible to take out a second unsecured personal loan to consolidate these cards and overdraft, without touching the Northern Rock loan? I can then pay off both loans each month and cut up all the cards but just wanted to check if this is possible before I apply for one.
