Hi Guys,
I've recently got back from Bulgaria and was ecpecting a large mobile phone bill. Somewhere in region of £100. My partner had a applied for a job not long before we left so needed to accses the web a couple of times. I knew this would cost so said he could use up to 10mb while away. We recieved a text message when we hit 10MB and stopped using it for online. However ive just received a huge bill of £218. I rang orange and to be honest the guy was helpfull but it turns out their system is not. The text message can take up to three days to be sent so we had been using it a lot more than we had thought. To the tune of £190. To be honest we've just moved house and so this month is tight. They have said we can pay it in installments but I dont think they're proccess is all that good as we had no idea what we were using. And it turns out the text I recieved when we first went saying the cost was £2.49 per megabite was wrong as we were in a different part of Europe. Argh. Has anyone had this happen? And do you think there's any thing I can do to reduce the bill at all? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
