I have just heard back from Consumer Direct regarding the breaches of contract from Phonebox Direct ( Mobile media systems). They have notified the appropriate Trading Standards Authorities in order to assist in their enforcement activities. They advise on looking on www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk for information on legal procedures. Also complain to Otelo the ombudsman/watchdog of the industry. Then more complaints that are received the better the chances of putting a stop to this scam. I have written to the MD (Mr Simon Slater) to see if he wants to discuss paying me my money in person but company isn’t hot on communication. If anybody knows the names of the other anonymous directors, then say. It is about time these people are made to answer its critics rather than hide behind their incompetent staff.
