Re: openning a new bank account with bad credit

Can you believe since i posted on here weeks ago I still havn't had a response from Natwest with regards to a Step Account.... im absolutely dumb struck that I havn't received anything with regards to a decline or an acceptance but even funnier than that is that I am with Bank of Scotland and have a Visa Electron, suddenly my bank have sent a letter to me saying they're upgrading my account to a current account so i'll have a Visa Debit Card - back to normality... I wonder if Natwest being part of Bank of Scotland noticed I was looking to change banks and did something about it as my bank knows im not happy with my account the way it is!!

Anyways in short at the end of all the carry on i checked my credit score and it came up at just over 760 out of 1000 - how is that bad??? Does anyone have any guidance on whats a good score and whats bad?

Any info would be much appreciated as im at the end of my tether and scared to apply for anything incase i get declined!!!

    x x
