However, why can't the police just provide the other party's admission statement? For the amount of money they demond, you'd think that the report they provide insurance company would include that. Instead, all we've got is my statement. What does that prove? I'm so angry with both the insurance company and the police. It just made me feel like a victim all over again!

ps. You can get insurance elswhere. My insurance was up for renewal. They (Sheila's Wheel) gave me a quote that was so expensive that I shopped around and save myself over £100 by switching to Aviva.
