sounds good and thanks for the advice,jalexa. i am currently looking at a savings rate of 5%aer with the halifax. sounds good although it has restrictions ie minimun payments or interest reduces to 0.1% http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/regularsaver.asp
i should be able to keep up the regular payments.will set up DD so i dont forget. and its safe i guess. will still look around to see what i can find.thank
