You remind me of an old, nice ticket controller in the (now defunct) British Rail ... he would trawl across the carriages saying "All tickets please! All tickets please!" at each train stop. A customer whom he had just checked on the previous stop showed him the ticket and said "you've checked me a few minutes ago sir" ... the lovely old boy stopped, looked at him, checked his ticket, and then proceeded on to say "All tickets please! All tickets please!" ... and proudly made his way through the carriage...
