I got one of the cards for the same reason and have had no problems. Remeber though that you'll need to upgrade the card for £1.95 after you buy it but the dormancy doesnt kick in till 3 months of no use and it's never happened with me. Also the transaction fee isnt always £1 can also be 50p.

All in all does exactly what it says on the tin.

Thanks, that helps a lot. How long have you had it for and would you be so good as to tell me whether www.game.co.uk, www.play.com and www.gameplay.co.uk accept the card as far as you're aware?

I find it hard to understand why people complain about these small charges, even taking them into account, you still save loads over buying instore and furthermore, you have the peace of mind when shopping online of knowing that your main bank account is completely safe, something you don't have if using a credit card or even a debit card online. Even if someone 'only' gets hold of your debit card details, they can still clear your account out can't they?
