I have been following all of these posts with great interest... i got myself into some financial difficulties when my mum and dad split up 4 years ago, I moved up to another town with my mum whilst my dad stayed in the house and i couldn't get to all my bills... anyhoo the problem i now face is that in 2006 i got a mortgage for my home and have never missed a payment, i still have some debt of about £2000 but i have kept on top of it for well over a year, I tried to join my partners Lloyds TSB account and was flat blank turned down... he's been nipping my head ever since to get a joint account so today i went to try and open an account with Natwest - the Step account... do you think i stand much of a chance??
