I'm sorry that you are having so much difficulty with getting an account. I used LessThanPerfect.co.uk for obtaining a bank account because I wanted an expert opinion. I was pleased with their service considering my poor credit history. I also used them to get a car lease and that went smoothly also.

I think you should consider that multiple searches makes your chance of getting credit - or a bank account - much reduced, as banks may suspect fraud or that you are overstretching yourself, even that you are having financial problems. Better make one application you know will be accepted than chancing your luck and causing more detail.

I undestand that there are only two banks who accept discharged bankrupts, so perhaps some advice would be well worth investing in.
