please help....

i am 22 and can't get myself a bank account. I have applied with natwest for their step account, i was accepted in principle. this was on saturday, i then check my experian credit report online on monday and find the natwest have carried out a credit search yesturday i went home from work at lunch time to find i have been declined for the step account, i was really down hearted.

every current account i have applied for in the last 6 month has been a decline..

please can someone help in obtaining a current bank account.
