I'll have to agree with krypto on this one. I wouldn't leave home without legal protection. Yes you could get a private solicitor to deal with it on a no win no fee basis, but would you want the hassle of finding one you could trust after being injured in an accident - I wouldn't. Speaking from experience (when a complete muppet ran a red light and demolished the side of my car), i certianly would not want the hassle of arranging a solicitor just for the sake of £20 a year. At least if you have legal protection you are safe with the knowledge that it is all arranged for you, should you be unfortunate enough to need it.
I highly recommend Legal Protection. It served its purpose for me in a non fault accident.
You would be gutted if your lottery numbers came up and you'd forgotton to buy your ticket wouldn't you.
That is why we all (well, most of us) club in to this great big pot called insurance. that is why people with a bad driving record or little experience have higher premiums. And yes the insurers are also out there to make a profit as well as providing cover. That is called business!
