You should be able to understand members on this forum are frustrated. We invested in a bank, not a high risk share. It must be nice for you as you did not put money in Landsbanki as you did research into the bank and you were aware that was no depositors protection scheme in Guernsey.

I think one month ago most of us did not ever think a depositors protection scheme would be needed and most of us had no idea what the level of protection was in each country because retail banks do not fail. Also reassurances from directors of the bank, the marketing of the company gave no indication we were investing in anything risky.

All of us are regretting having an account with Landsbanki and this forum has offered a light to most of us, in what is a very stressful time.
