I agree with Sara65 that survival of the bank through purchase, for example, by Ing Direct, should be actively pursued. I share the same concern that saying that they will be providing part payments as soon as possible seems to suggest this option is not being pursued. However, the original statement from Peter Neville DG of Guernsey Financial Services Commission states that: "the Court has appointed Mr Rick Garrard of Deloitte and Touche LLP with a view to achieving the survival of the bank, and the whole or any part of its undertaking, as a going concern."

We just have to keep the pressure on all relevant parties.
