This is the site of the official Icelandic Depositors' and Investors' Guarantee Fund. It has an English language option. It has changed dramatically in the last few days with a new act introduced and sections relating to specific overseas banks. When I had a quick look just now I could not see a specific section on Landsbanki Guernsey. I have assumed that the categorical statement by the Administrator that there is no Icelandic cover for depositors in Landsbanki Guernsey is correct. Nevertheless, I am e-mailing the Fund to ask them to provide a clear statement with respect to depositors in Landsbanki Guernsey.
