Re: Interest on Secured Variable Rate Loan

Hi Donnerking. If you were told you HAD to take out PPI or the loan would not be given, you have a solid case for mis-selling and you should ask for a full refund of premiums paid plus interest and for the loan to be re-written as if you had not taken out PPI, this will help to reduce the balance you owe. Even though you claimed the premiums back after 5 years, you are still paying interest on it and you will do until the end of the loan, you should still attempt to get ihe interest back and the loan re=written.

Google 'firstplus complaints' and you'll find our website and forum. We are over 300 FP customers all with the same issues and we can help you get started on majing a claim. The forum is secure, you have to register to join it and this keeps the nosy parkesr from firstplus and barclays out of our discussions.

Hope to see you there soon! Aly
