Hi Mike, I thought we haven't heard much from you recently!
I have lots of things going on with this, so not sure which bit you're asking about! Here's where I am at the moment:
PPI Mis-sell claim turned down by FP, they rely heavily on the conversation my husband had with their sales person and they did not even address my comments about the cost of the policy against the potential maximum payout at all. I have now sent an SAR request as I want to hear the conversation for myself before I decide what to do next. Any advice appreciated!
I had a letter from the FLA as you asked me to find out if there is an industry standard for changing interest rates. They have replied saying they have forwarded my 'complaint' to FP. A bit annoyed at this as it wasn't a complaint, I wanted the FLA's opinion.
Ombudsman still sitting on my Interest rate complaint - they said up to 2 months before an adjudicator can look at it.
FSA have passed my 'unfair contract' complaint to the OFT
MP has written to FP for a 2nd time after I sent him my response to their first letter full of lame excuses & reasoning
Its a frustratingly slow process, but Angus is doing a brilliant job in the background getting legal advice & representation for us. Hopefully, we will move on with a 'class action' type thing soon.
