I know exactly what you mean about the sinking feeling - we thought we had lost the best part of 49k and thats a lot of hard earned cash of anybody's money......I was a bit later than most and only realised that I couldn't get at our money until I heard some news on Radio 5 live and by then I felt physically sick.. Like you swifts our money has been with Nat West which was as good as I could find at the time although Mrs Microlighter transferred her ISA to the Cheshire which had a good rate until this December
