At long last!! I'm so pleased for you Kevin. I've been keeping a watchful eye on this thread over the weeks, although I haven't posted. I think that's about everyone now isn't it?

I agree intrest rates are dire. All the variable rates are dropping like a stone, and there aren't many decent fixed rates now. I was lucky enough to get some money into a fixed rate at 5%, but I needed access to the rest - some of it is now earning 0.75%. Good luck with the hunt! All the best, Mel
