I was awarded judgement in small claims court last year for a claim I made. By then the company had liquidated. I phoned the solicitor handling the proceedings and was told " don't waste your time, they have no assets." He also suggested that they had "arranged" matters skillfully enough to avoid ex "customers" being reimbursed. I have been told that some of the assets such as machines and other such valuable equipment are not registered as the companys' property and might be declared as the property of employees, though I am unsure about the accuracy of this.
