Hi all i have my pick up in there at the mo and iam hoping it is only for the moment, it was collected monday and i had a call today my engine is out and in bits i dont know alot about engines and i was told the crank was not serviceable and yes a surcharge ? and asked do i want to continue i said i would call them back not sure what thay are on, not even sure what a crankshaft is, i called the main dealer thay were helpfull in the respect of telling me what the engine place was telling me was right, so i called i think it was martin and gave the go ahead.

Reading this site has really got me worried i need my truck for work, i was told i would get a call friday? guess all i can do is wait and see but so far i have not come accross what some of you have on here??????? thay havent ripped me off and have spoken to me fine SO FAR will keep you all up dated

hello i collected my works truck yesterday you will see from my first post its been just over a week and yes i worried for nothing CHEERS !!!!!! the l200 i can say this now thay dont have it runs A1 i have no complaints and my truck is great i know from reading some of this that i now beleve to be crap.

that some of you wont for some reson want to here this [I also have no complaints and would use them again and recomend them based on my exp with them 'sorry if this upsets some of you [rivel garages] or whoever you are' but ive also had no probs with them or with my car A1

I think stating that mine and others accounts of our experiences with Heathrow Engines AKA Engine Warehouse are "crap" is to be polite, rude, and thoughtless. You suggest that you feel we are part of some "conspiracy" of "rival garages" ! Well I won't use your terminology to describe how these comments make me feel but I can assure you my experience was unfortunately all too real. It cost me dearly, and contributed to the loss of my small business, ( no I do not own a rival garage, my business was in an entirely different trade) and I certainly would not have made the many posts I have on this forum out of some twisted desire to damage a business if it had treated me ethically and professionally; I maintain this company did none of that and that is the only reason I air my feelings here on this forum where at least I have found that what happened to me was not unique or a result of me being just "unlucky"

There are many others on this forum who have had the same experience, It has been stated before on this discussion that there are numerous other forums detailing the same sad stories, and the fact that this has been happening for several years. This is not "co incidence" or just a few bitter twisted souls on one forum. This companies actions have affected many peoples lives in a negative way.

You state that you have no problems with the work on your truck. I have no valid reason to doubt what you tell me at this point. I genuinely hope that your vehicle will remain reliable as you need your truck for your work. Remember I can empathise with you on that point as I needed my car for work too (although mine was rendered unusable by Heathrow Engines "workmanship" for nearly three months!)

Mine and many others experiences have been vastly different to yours so please do not dismiss what has happenned for us and try to suggest we are writing crap or make ludicrous suggestions that we have some "hidden agenda" or are part of some sort of rival garage "fighting for trade". Frankly that just sounds like you have swallowed the spin doctoring they are experts at. I can confidently state that " I am a real life, genuine, unhappy ex customer of HE, EW" and I have been genuinely turned over by them in real life, it was not, unfortunately, a dream!
