 i also recieved a phone call from Hastings Insurance today saying that my insurance policy is to be cancelled, because the underwriters had made an error at the time i took the policy out in may, can they do this, as i signed a contract for 12 months for the policy

 they also told me that he had to phone 3000 people about this matter so i assume that these 3000 people are losing there policys,  he offered me a new policy at a higher rate nearly £700 which i cannot afford, this is my first insurance policy so i was trying to build up the no claims but because of this i will have to start again.

 surely they cannot do this.
