    Re: HALIFAX HARASSMENT

Everyone is entitled to their opinion although I do not think you are entitled to make assumptions about me. I agree that I have got myself in this situation and I was only asking for help. I have never posted saying I want to get out of paying this money. In my first post I said

(quote) What do I do? Put the £50.00 in and stop it before it starts and wait for the court case re bank charges to settle or do I write and explain that any charges added will be claimed etc. (unquote)

I was only asking for advice.

Had you posted slating me I would of ignored it. As I said before I was only asking for help. If you look on the CAG website there are thousands of other people (much worse off than me) requesting help to deal with debts and DCA's. Just as I can, they will also ignore any detrimental remarks. Some people may be put off or offended by comments regarding putting themselves in their position. We all need help at sometime.

I asked if anyone had a letter to keep this situation as it was until the court case was settled. Had I received 5 replies saying there was no such thing and I should pay the money, then I would do it.

Had I received the letter I was looking for, I would of sent it.

When I read the posts, I dont reply if I cant help. Thats my decision. The reason I dont post is because some of the people are desperate and when you get the e-mail in your box saying someone has replied, for a moment you see the light at the end of the tunnel. When you open it to find a few lines blaming the poster for the situation they are in, its a real downer. That isnt an assumption. Thats how it feels. That comment does not refer to this post.

I dont want to seem as though I am preaching. I have learned to think before I open my mouth. We all protect our own and as I said before, sometimes we do need help. If it wasnt for this and the CAG website, helping thousands of people a year, they would be paying out money to DCA's and getting ripped off for charges left, right and centre. This is a fantastic site.

If you want to post, then go ahead, you are entitled to. All I ask is you re-read your post before submitting it. A desperate person doesnt need to read something that feels like a slap in the face.

I will contact the bank, as sugested, and see what they have to say.

**********Anyone reading this, please dont be put off, there are plenty of people on here who will help and be happy to do so.**********
