get rid of your home phone use mobile

I think the way for telecomunications is home phones buried mobiles take over.

at the moment I use my mobile for everything including the internet! no not wap GPRS my pc connects through my mobile.
I can even pay my bills on my phone aswell as a hoast of other things.

my internet connects at broadband speed so im happy there. i get my £60 call allowance per month to call anyone except premium rate numbers and freephone, freephone gets charged outside my allowance but at a standard rate and this includes 0845 local numbers but its not that exspensive anyhowz!

what i truly like is the fact that I get all these features from my tiny mobile so why do i need a home phone? I dont!
its actually its cheaper for me to use my mobile for all round use I pay £40 per month and its cheaper than having the mobile and a fixed line and its even cheaper for me than the fixed line allone, and that you cant carry.

most people think you need a fixed line for broadband and internet connections and that it costs the earth to access the internet from your mobile. nope thats not the case! most operators now carry data ready connections for your pc's through your mobile, my operator t-mobile supply a 384 uplink for £20 a month there is a cheaper package but its slow. all you need is a decent phone and a data cable and hay presto your on the net. sad thing is there doing a deal at the mo that is cheaper if you are a new customer.

so what do you think whats the pro's and cons of using your mobile against a home (fixed line) phone?
