no signal in my 3 phone for over 6 months decided to cancel my house is in a hole, i used to get a signal with three, thats untill they changed from an 02 carrier mast to orange mast, and orange there is no signal in my area, took over 1 week trying to get to speak to them, eventually got indian call centre who for 45 minuts kept me on the phone going round and round asking me between my requests to cancel if i wanted a new phone or simcard, or to upgrade, after 30 mins i reallised i was bieng kep on the line and high pressure sales tactics were involved so i didnt leave, they simply would would not accept i can get no signal where i live and continued to try to sell me a phone, they then finally agrreed to close the account and asked me if i wanted a pac code, i said yes, they said it was only valid for 30 days and muse be used in 30 days, , BUT THEY NEVER SAID ACCEPTING A PAC CODE WOULD MEAN MY 45 MINUTE CANCELLATION PHONE CALL WOULD BE INVALID IF I DIDNT USE THE PAC CODE so 2 months later im still getting bills and phone them again, if i was was told a pac code would keep my acount active i would have said no, its my belief there using this to in a deceitful way yo get a few extra months payments, even thought my 18 month contract has ended, is it me or do others consider a 50 minute call to cancel a no longer working phone excessive, they wouldnt take no for an answer , recommending better phones, new sim card, they wouldnt stop. i came of the phone feeling threatened, blackmailed, and trapped, will never go with three again i now know why they use indian call centers rather than uk, ones,it not just because of the lower cost its simply too far to travel to bang on there door cause a scene,,,,,and complain,,,,,,,,,
