I am also on Heatwise / economy 10 tariff with Powergen. Todate I have not had any problems, Powergen put me on Heatwise in 1999 when I had new storage heaters fitted (contary to what Raz said) I still have the leaflet which says that the tariff was created especially for electric storage heaters.

Since changing from economy 7 to Heatwise I have noticed an improvement in keeping the house a constant temperature and a drop in bills. From problems others have had I am now worried that I will soon be taken off this tariff, but I have not had any problems with my bills and the guy that comes to read the meter has places on his hand held divice for all 5 readings, so it appears to me that E10 meters can be supported.

One thing I have noticed though is that on my bills it does not say economy 10, it says "economy 7 with Heatwise plan". Hope this helps someone, and that I don't get taken off my tariff.
