First thanks so much for your quick response. I have already got the immersion heaters on timer switches which have them coming on off peak. My problem is with EDF in London.

The x2 main elctricity uses are the immersion heating but also some kitchen underfloor heating in winter. I could program the latter to be off peak but it EDF off peak times are not conducive with this - 3 hours between 12pm and 4pm and for 7 hours between 7pm and 5am. The other main electricity usages are dishwasher & washing machine, which due to kids etc are on at all times of the day.

To give you some idea of my bills, my annual electricity usage is 29018 kWh!
