Hi,
With E10 you can have a three phase E10 which would link all your single phases into one meter but depends on the area you are in as one or two Meter Opertaors dont fit 3Ph E10. With your emerrsion you will need to get a sparky to fit a timeswitch which will come on at E10 times as E10 provides a 24hr supply to your property and only switches from off peak to peak, the meter is unable to rescrict emmersion & heating systems (sometimes their is confusion ofver Easterns/10 MPAN E10 3 rate storage heating tariff and Scottish & Southerns E10). Concerning cost etc E10 is basically designed for spontaneous purposes like water/space heating systems. Unfortunaly I dont know what the current prices are at the moment but a good way to start it to caculate the usage of your emmersur to what you are paying just now to what they would be on E10 cheap rate. Now with E10 the peak rate is higher than the domestic standard rate so its looking at what energy you would use in these periods to the off peak to see if the they would balance Now depending on what area you stay in depends on what can be installed in terms of a different tariff / more suitable tariff if need be as each distrubution is different. What supplier is it that you are having the problem with? The way forward is tell us who your supplier is, what MPAN area you are in, when energy is being used most in your home, what size of property you are in, wattage of the emmersion heater and any other source of heating or applicance that needs a load of electric. With this information I will be able to do a bit of analsis and depending on your supplier may have a contact that would be good to speak to.
Cheers
Mr MPAN
