Re: Drive Assist need to be stopped

Firstly, Drive Assist do not charge at "Fantasy Island Rates", they charge Assossication of British Insurer (ABI) rates that set by the ABI and are agreed with the third party insurer. No third party insurer would agree to pay rates that are not regulated anyway.

It is true, as it is a credit hire agreement everyone is ultimately responsible for the hire charges, but DA ensure these charges will not come back on the client e.g. monitoring claims to ensure there are no delays to stop third party insurers disputing hire periods, charging abi rates for like for like vehicle group (even if upgraded veh supplied, correct rate will still be charged), taking on claims where accident circumstances are clearly non fault or if other party has admitted liability.

Everyone will be explained during booking they will sign a credit hire agreement as DA follow scripts. DA also explain that they will be signing for the credit hire agreement on delivery, as well as receipt of the hire vehicle.

The reason the signature is transposed is becuase you sign for the whole credit hire agreement on delivery, the signature is just shown on different sections of this agreement to reflect the parts of the CH agreement you are agreeing to, it is not like there a credit hire agreement, another agreement and another. It is just for display purposes only.
