Cost Cutting Idea's for Xmas Prezzies. How will you do it?

Christmas is drawind closer and closer ...and before you know it on Xmas day people are overdrawn at the bank, credit cards maxed out to the limit, Direct debits returned with penalties mounting fast. Who cares? Christmas day was fab! Everyone got the gifts you wanted to give them and that makes you feel like you hae done something good. WRONG!!

The aftermath of christmas for many does not go away for a few month and for some the debt is still being paid off when the next christmas is about to come round. As much as we love our children, family and friends, do you really think they would like to know that they put you in a cash crisis?

This forum is about helping people and trying to get them the best deal, advice and value for money. So why not think of ideas for Xmas gifts that dont cost money? From baking christmas buscuits as gifts to the grandparents, to children making wrapping paper out of wall lining paper and xmas cards, making your own mulled wine as a house gift when you visit family and friends, or giving gifts that are full of thought and dont cost the earth.

Lets get the ball rolling for all those who cant afford xmas (and for those that think they can!)

    Here is my idea......

Take your own photos of the children and put them in a nice frame (not gold or chrystal) and give as a gifts the family members. The children can make the wrapping paper and card. Grandparents and aunties will love this...Job lot! done and dusted!! Total cost about £5 per gift.

    Any other takers? (or givers!!)
