thank you for taking the time to reply to my question and sorry its taken me so long to say so!!!

my laptop runs windows vista. i have tried the 'disk cleanup' option on a number of occasions but am only gaining small amounts of storage through this. ive managed to keep the system going so far by uninstalling various programs that i dont use but am running out of this option now too! unfortunately i can't find the 'system restore' option so have been unable to try this.

i've been searching all over the web for instructions on what to do but so far no luck.....i was wondering if you might have any more suggestions?

the C: drive is now nearly full with only 2.5GB of storage available while the D: drive has approx 30GB available.

every time i start my laptop there are more updates to install and its becoming a constant battle to keep enough space available to store the updates and run the system. any help that could be offered would be appreciated.
