advice needed. i have recently taken a car on finance from a local dealer. he took my old car as a part ex. this old car was on finance as well and he took the settlement fig from the bank( of scotland) he asked me to cancell the direct debit for this car. now when ispoke to the bank close to the date of direct debit they said that they havent rcvd the settlement amount. i called the dealer he said to cancel the dd. called the bank again and was told that if the payments are not made until the settlememnt is done, it could affect the credit rating.now i am stuck with paying monthly for two cars one of which i dont even have. please advise what to do.
