Re: Can my Landlord change meters from direct debit to pay as you go?

Your Landlord does not own the meter's and therefore any contract he has in palce with any party regarding these meters is quite literally now woth the paper its written on. Additionally so long as you are paying the energy bills - your landlord does not have a say in what meters you have. The only parties that do are your supplier and of course yourself.

So i would kindly but firmly tell your landlord these facts and that your happy with your payment arrangments as they are. IF your landlord is paying the energy bills as part of your contract with them then they do have a say in what metter you have.
