Hi

I am a private tenant and I have been getting very high gas bills. When I moved in around 9 months ago the hot water wasn't working. The landlord had to send his plumber out around 5 times before he finally got it working. Now after speaking to Scottish Power it seems that he set it up so it is heating water around the clock, and this is why the gas bills have been so high. I estimate this has cost us around £400 in extra gas costs.

Can anyone offer any advice?
