It's 6.25% now for Tax Haven ISA. I had the same problem with Barclays. After my account was opened last week, I called them up to deposit some money into it. In what was supposed to last 5 mins, the chap on the phone tried selling me Barclays Home insurance (under the context 'while waiting for the transaction to be approved), and also a new Barclaycard. All in all, I spent 20minutes on the phone with these people.
